    Marcela Segura Crispin, MS, LMFT, PMH-C

    Marcela Segura Crispin earned her Bachelors of Science in Criminology-Victimology in 2011 and her Masters in Counseling – Marriage and Family Therapy in 2015. Both of her degrees were earned at California State University, Fresno. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Marcela believes in a non-judgmental and safe therapeutic setting in which clients are able process and share their life experiences. For the past 7 years Marcela has immersed herself in trauma and crisis counseling in a community mental health setting. She respects the client where they are in their life experience and wants to be a part of the healing process. She has specialized in working with couples transitioning to parenthood and with women who require perinatal mental health needs. She has experience working with children, adults, families, and has extensive experience with group processing. Marcela is fluent in Spanish, and extensive experience working with diverse populations. Marcela has been trained in Trauma Informed Care and has been a Reflective Practice Facilitator for four years. Marcela has an integrative approach to treatment, with an emphasis in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

    Marcela Segura Crispin obtuvo su Licenciatura en Criminología-Victimología en 2011 y su Maestría en Consejería – Terapia Matrimonial y Familiar en 2015. Ambos títulos fueron obtenidos en la Universidad Estatal de California, Fresno. Como Terapeuta Matrimonial y Familiar Licenciada, Marcela cree en un entorno terapéutico seguro y sin prejuicios en el que los clientes pueden procesar y compartir sus experiencias de vida. Durante los últimos 7 años Marcela se ha sumergido en el trauma y la crisis de asesoramiento en un entorno de salud mental de la comunidad. Ella respeta al cliente donde está en sus experiencias de vida y quiere ser parte del proceso de curación. Se ha especializado en trabajar con parejas en transición a la paternidad y con mujeres que requieren necesidades de salud mental perinatal. Ella tiene experiencia trabajando con niños, adultos, familias, y tiene una amplia experiencia en el procesamiento de grupos. Marcela habla español con fluidez y tiene una vasta experiencia trabajando con diversas poblaciones. Marcela ha sido entrenada en Trauma Informed Care y ha sido Facilitadora de Práctica Reflexiva por cuatro años. Marcela tiene un enfoque integral al tratamiento, con énfasis en la Terapia Cognitiva Conductual.
