Julie Santana, MS, APCC
Julie Santana graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Women’s studies in 2016. She subsequently graduated with her Master of Science Degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in the Spring of 2020. Both degrees were earned from California State University, Fresno. Julie is a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of California. Julie has gained valuable knowledge and experience providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (A.B.A.) therapy to children and adolescents with Autism and related disorders while working as a Registered Behavior Technician. She also has experience working with infants and toddlers from 0-3 years old who have various special needs. Both in her work and her education she has seen the value of person first language and the importance of emphasizing people’s abilities not their limitations. Julie also has experience providing outpatient services such as individual counseling to children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. She works from both client centered and psychodynamic perspectives. She is passionate about helping and supporting people in their journey towards healing.
