    Joe Navarro, MS, APCC, CRC

    Joe Navarro obtained his Bachelor’s of Art degree in Public Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2013. Since then, Joe has worked for many years in social services providing disability and vocational assessments and determinations. In 2021, Joe obtained his Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the California State University, Fresno. Joe was then Board registered in August 2021 as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.

    Trained in using a humanistic and person-centered approach to counseling, Joe considers himself to be an integrative counselor tailoring the therapeutic environment and treatment according to each individual’s needs. Joe utilizes aspects and best practices from person-centered, family systems, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused and strength-based therapeutic modalities. Joe has a specific interest in working with children, adolescents, and their families to provide collaboration and support in a safe-therapeutic environment. Joe has experience working with individuals from all backgrounds and ages that have experienced inadequate attachment and connection to their loved ones, trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders, amongst many other mental health and behavioral challenges.
